Plassteze supplies world-class mould polishing consumables sourced from Germany and Japan for die and mould surface finishing across India. Plassteze supplies diamond polishing compounds (oil-based and water-based), polishing stones in various grit grades, felt bobs, abrasive mounted points, fibre abrasive sticks, diamond polishing paste, and complete polishing kits for die and mould surface finishing.
Plassteze polishing stones are available from coarse grits (120, 180, 220) for stock removal through medium grits (320, 400, 600) for smoothing to fine grits (800, 1000, 1200, 1500, 2000) for pre-polishing and ultra-fine for mirror finish.
Diamond polishing compound is used in the final stages of mould polishing to achieve mirror-quality surface finishes. Applied on felt bobs or polishing sticks, diamond compound removes fine scratches and produces Ra values below 0.05 μm for optical and high-gloss moulds.
